Pie Eating Contests for Children and Adults
Noble Pies of Warwick, NY is holding a pie eating contest on Sunday, June 24, 1:00PM in conjunction with their second anniversary. Leslie Noble and Tom Herman started out in 2008 selling home-baked pies at a pie stand on the side of the highway and from their driveway. They moved their business to the current retail location, 121 State Rt 94 S, Warwick, NY in June 2010. Support from other local businesses and the Warwick community have kept them thriving and expanding. Today Noble Pies specializes in hand made baked goods from scratch using local fruits and vegetables, and no preservatives. Their products range from sweet and savory pies to muffins, cookies, quiches, breads and cakes. Gluten-free and sugar-free products are available. They participate in farmers markets and local fundraising activities. The celebration includes the pie eating contests for children and adults, drawings for prizes, and samples of their products. The contest entrants must eat as much of one pie as they can, with their hands behind their back. There is a 10 minute time limit. The contest is free to enter, and the winners are awarded 3 months of free pies. Enter the pie eating contest by email: contest@noblepies.com or by calling 845-986-7436, or downloading the entry form and rules at www.noblepies.com. Entries will be accepted on the day of the contest until 12 noon. Pie contests start at 1:00PM. |
