This quote captures FDR's connection to Springwood in Hyde Park, the estate that he loved & the place he considered home. The first US Presidential Library was started by FDR here. Visit the Home of FDR and Presidential Library & Museum to learn about the only President elected to four terms. Tours of the FDR Home have an outdoor component. The walk to the Home from the Visitor Center is 1/4 mile long in one direction - all on level ground. |
